Zé Roberto (Jose Roberto da Silva Junior)
Zé Roberto claimed the domestic league and Cup double three times with Bayern between 2002 and 2006, and is now looking to recapture those glory days in his second spell at the club. The Brazilian returned to Munich in July 2007 after a season with FC Santos, but he is emphatically not the same player as before. Back on home soil, the gifted dribbler unfurled a new dimension to his game, excelling not merely as an intelligent provider, but also frequently adding his name to the scoresheet and helping out in defence. Bayern can be delighted at welcoming the ‘new’ Zé Roberto back to their ranks.
