Jose Ernesto Sosa is an unknown quantity in Europe for now, but that could soon change as the Argentine embarks on a new chapter of his career. He is an established figure on home soil, where El Principito (The Little Prince) joined Estudiantes de La Plata as a boy before earning a place in the senior team in 2002. Four years later, he assisted the club to a first championship title in 23 years, and earned a debut cap for Argentina in April 2007. Uli Hoeneß compares Sosa to Sebastian Deisler, a pacy, technically able attacking midfielder who favours the right-hand channel but can also play centrally or on the left.
