| Andreas Ottl |
 |
Andreas Ottl is the sixth finished product of the Bayern youth set-up currently featuring in the senior squad after signing professional forms on 1 July 2005, a first full-time contract for the youngster thus following in the footsteps of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Owen Hargreaves and company. The sole Munich-born player in the squad apart from Philipp Lahm has his feet firmly planted on the ground, naming his initial goals as "learn, train hard and make a substitute appearance every now and then." The versatile defensive midfielder will continue to amass match practice with the reserves where he has been a regular for two seasons and collected third division south championship honours in 2004.
